Premium Collection I-Tips, K-Tips, U-Tips & Y-Tips

Pre-bonded hair extensions are a type of hair extensions that have a keratin or glue tip at the end of each strand. They are attached to your natural hair using a heat or cold fusion method. There are different types of pre-bonded hair extensions, such as U-tip, I-tip, K-tip, and flat-tip. Each type has its own advantages and disadvantages, depending on your hair type, budget, and preference. Here are some of the main methods of applying pre-bonded hair extensions:

  • U-tip: This method uses a heating device to melt the keratin or glue tip and fuse it with your natural hair. The tip is shaped like a U or a fingernail and wraps around your hair strand. This method is also known as hot fusion, flat-tip, or nail-tip. It is suitable for thick and healthy hair, and it can last for 3 to 6 months with proper care.
  • I-tip: This method uses small metal beads or tubes to attach the hair extensions to your natural hair. The tip is shaped like an I or a stick and is inserted into the bead or tube. The bead or tube is then clamped with a special plier to secure the bond. This method is also known as cold fusion, micro-loop, or micro-bead. It is suitable for thin and fine hair, and it can last for 2 to 4 months with proper care.
  • K-tip: This method is similar to the U-tip method, but the tip is shaped like a K or a V. The tip is melted and fused with your natural hair using a heating device. The tip is then rolled to create a round bond. This method is also known as V-tip or keratin-tip. It is suitable for medium and coarse hair, and it can last for 3 to 6 months with proper care.
  • Flat-tip: This method is similar to the U-tip method, but the tip is flat and thin. The tip is melted and fused with your natural hair using a heating device. The tip is then pressed to create a flat bond. This method is also known as flat-weft or skin-weft. It is suitable for thin and fine hair, and it can last for 3 to 6 months with proper care.
